A serviceable bird monocular

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who said Vanguard was a good bargain for the quality of the optics. (He has a a pair of Vanguard binocs which he uses as his primary set for birding & other wildlife viewing.) This is a superb compact monocular. The optics are very sharp, and it is easy to handle & focus with one hand. I haven’t tried the phone attachment yet, but that looks pretty solid. All in all, I like using this monocular over another, more expensive monocular I had purchased a few years ago.
